EBG member estates are distinguished by:

• Long term family ownership
• Effective professional management
• Each of these estates is generally also supported by an other asset base

EBG was set up in 1973. Since then successive Governments have recognised and voiced support for the benefits of private ownership of estates.

The Group is unique as a collective that includes both urban, rural, and property interests the owners of which take a long term and responsible view of preservation and development.
